The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray comes with a hybrid powertrain, and each trim level is available in either a coupe or convertible styling, with a manually removable roof panel or a power-retractable roof, respectively. Read on to learn more about each level.
Hybrid Powertrain
The Corvette E-Ray comes equipped with a mighty 6.2-liter V8 DI engine, which delivers 495 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. The Corvette E-Ray also comes with a single electric motor that channels power to the front wheels. The engine and the motor combined grant the Corvette E-Ray 655 horsepower and all-wheel-drive capability.
1LZ
Kicking off the Chevy Corvette E-Ray lineup is the 1LZ trim, which makes a bold statement with distinctive front and rear fascias and an expertly sculpted design focused on enhancing performance and aerodynamics. Performance-enhancing features include Brembo carbon ceramic antilock brakes, magnetically controlled adaptive suspension dampers, and a specifically performance-oriented traction control system.
Inside the 1LZ trim, you will find Mulan leather seating surfaces, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and an eight-way, power-adjustable driver’s seat. Standout tech features include the Head-Up Display (which projects important vehicle information on the windshield to discourage looking down while driving) and the infotainment system’s wireless smartphone integration capability.
2LZ
Next in the Corvette E-Ray lineup is the 2LZ trim, which brings more luxury upgrades in the form of heated and ventilated seats and a heated steering wheel. A navigation system is implemented, and the sound system gets a boost to the Bose Performance Series 14-speaker audio system.
The 2LZ trim also comes with a fun and convenient performance data and video recorder. A 1080p HD camera module mounted on the windshield records video and performance data in real-time. Not only can this be set to auto-record every drive, but you can also view the videos and audio on the color touchscreen or save them on an SD memory card for future viewing on a computer.
3LZ
The last trim in the Corvette E-Ray lineup is the 3LZ. This trim continues to build upon the previous two by adding some sporty premium features, such as GT2 bucket seats and a flat-bottomed carbon fiber and leather-wrapped steering wheel. This trim comes standard with the Custom Leather Wrapped Interior Package, which adds leather trim to the doors, console cover, and the instrument panel.
